The Biafra Indigenous Council of Elders (BICOE) held
their National Meeting today. There was a massive turnout of members.
Serious issues affecting the body was addressed and one
of which was the appointment of a new acting Chairman of the body in the name
of Obong Ete Peter. He is from Utu Edem Usug, in Ikot Ekpene Local Government
Area of Akwa Ibom State. The acting Chairman addressed the house and accepted
to do his best during the period of his office.
The meeting came to an end with prayer said by the
Elders.
