THE MEANING OF "IGBO" IS ANCIENT

Nnamdi Kanu: We (Igbo) are the oldest people in the world. Biafrans are the oldest people on the face of this very planet Earth. We are called Ndi-Igbo (the beginning) In Igbo lexicon every name has a meaning. The meaning of Igbo for those who do not know, is #ANCIENT. Those that started the process, ndi “mbu” (the very first people) but it's very strange as the scripture made us aware the very first, is now the last. But unlike some people, I have Shame. That is why I do what I do. That is why we do what we do. Because we have honour and dignity. There is no true Igbo man who can stand HUMILIATION, but today we are humiliated and we keep quiet.
