EMERGENCY SITUATION; ONE OF THE ARRESTED 21 IPOB FAMILY MEMBERS IN AKWA IBOM STATE, ABOUT LOSING EYES

One of the 21 IPOB Family Members arrested on 12:06:19 in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa-Ibom State, Mr Aniekan James Udo is suffering very serious eye injury sustained from the torture by the Nigeria Policemen.

Recall, that Mr Aniekan James Udo, is one of those ambushed and arrested on their way from a Conference Organized by IPOB.

Mazi Chibueze Uchemchukwu, our State Media Team Correspondent who visited the Comrade, was shocked at the bad state of Aniekan James Udo, narrated how he was attacked on his first day in detention by lawless Nigerian Police. "I can't see clearly again, water pours out from my eyes freely and I am in excruciating pain" he lamented. He said since they were moved to the Maximum Prison, his eyes are even getting worse and the best he has been given by Prison Officials, is just tablets of paracetamol for temporary relief.

We therefore, request the Akwa Ibom State Chief Justice to make quick arrangements and move Aniekan James Udo to the hospital immediately or posterity will not be kind to you all
