Ebonyi state IPOB official inauguration of Izzi Local Government Area in Ebonyi North senatorial district, Abakaliki province of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) at Nwofe Agbaja took place on 30th April, 2019. The Local government which started its operation since 2015 has established more than ten IPOB family zones and many units.

The inauguration was attended by the Ebonyi state coordinator, Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya and his executives alongside the senatorial district coordinator, Mazi Wisdom Ezike and his executives and some other LGA coordinators from Abakaliki province, which includes Mazi Okeh Chukwuma; Ebonyi LGA coordinator, Mazi Kenneth Ojima; Ohaukwu LGA coordinator, Mazi Stevin Udoka; Abakaliki LGA coordinator, the Ebonyi North senatorial district women leader, Mrs Chukwu Jacinta and her colleagues equally attended the inauguration. Many from all parts of Izzi LGA attended the inauguration.

The state coordinator Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya while addressing the people before the inauguration expressed his joy over the performance of the local government area principal officers in the spreading the gospel of Biafra to all parts of Izzi, he urged them to remain resolute and keep the good work moving till Biafra s totally restored.
The leader of Supreme Clergy Council Of Biafra in Ebonyi State, Bishop Nwachinemerem Stanley prayed Chukwuokike Abiama to help them as they discharge their duties in the agitation to restore Biafra.

Mazi Jacob Ishioko the Izzi LGA coordinator on his remark appreciated those who came from far and near for the inauguration, he pleaded for the support of his principal officers and member to make sure that they deliver the entire Izzi to IPOB, now and during the referendum.

Many who spoke with the media affirmed that nothing will stop them from fighting for the total freedom of Biafra from the British evil contraption called Nigeria.
