There is a
strong smell of Revolution everywhere. The need for a fundamental but sudden
change in Political and territorial Organization in Nigeria is imminent. The
hour when the Masses revolts against the Government, typically due to
oppression and injustice.
The dust raised
during the last Presidential Election which was rigged against the wishes of
the Masses is still in the air, it hasn't settled. As if that was not enough,
the dictator President Buhari, who rigged the election to his favour has told
the grieving Masses that he is going to be tougher on them if sworn in. Revolution
looms!
The killings in
Adamawa, Kaduna and some middle belt States has escalated. Fulani Herdsmen have
gone hay wire since after the Election that announced their Patron (President
Buhari) winner. So many Communities have been wiped out within this short time
of 3 weeks. They have spread to Biafra Land. They are doing test run, to check
how Biafrans will react in case of an attack. A university Lecturer cum Local
council Secretary in Enugwu State was butchered two days ago.
Revolution
looms!
In Lagos State,
Biafrans are being pushed to the wall with the support of the Federal
Government. During the Election, they were attacked by the Yorubas for voting
against their choice candidates. Their Votes were burnt by thugs from the
ruling Party. Last week, Lagos State Government wrote the Biafran Management of
Trade fair Complex, (the biggest Market in West Africa built by Igbos)
requesting them to handover the market to the State Government or vacate. Revolution
looms!
China is where
it is today because of the Revolution of 1949 which was led by Mao Zedong,
Leader of Communist Party of China which resulted to the birth of 'The Peoples
Republic of China' on Oct 1 1949. It is on record that after this Revolution,
China became CORRUPTION FREE Nation till date. Their Leaders are the most
transparent in the world. There is capital punishment for offences as small as
embezzling 10$.
How about the
Cuban Revolution led by Fidel Castro against the authoritarian Government of
Cuban President Fulgencio Batista? The revolution began in July 1953, and
continued to spread sporadically through the units until the rebels finally
ousted Batista on 31 December 1958, Replacing his Government with a
Revolutionary Socialist state, 26 July 1956. Till date this date is celebrated
in Cuban as the day of the Revolution. The 26th of July movement later reformed
along communist lines, becoming the communist party in October 1965.
Mr Ojimba
Tobias, my good friend once opined that before anyone carries out a Revolution,
the person should first carry out the Revolution of the mind and sensitize the people
who are going to carry out the Revolution Project. This is why you always hear
our Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who by the Grace of Chukwu Okike Abiama (God
almighty) seriously sensitizing the Masses using Radio Biafra, IPOB Family
Meetings and Social Media Platforms.
