The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) in Ndulo Ngbo on 12th February,
2019 embarked on a massive sensitization Evangelical rally at Okwo Ngbo
international market with the aim to disseminate the stand of IPOB on the
Nigeria organized general election especially the 16th February 2019
presidential election which they ordered Biafrans to boycott, they used
the opportunity to educate the people on the need to comply to the 'Sit At
Home' order by the IPOB leadership on that day to enable the world know how
serious and how determined Biafrans are in the quest to restore Biafra as
a sovereign state from the British contraption called Nigeria.
The people's reactions were so enthusiastic, they pledged to adhere to
the instructions of sitting at home on the 16th February, 2019 as issued by
IPOB, should that be all they will do to get Biafra restored.
The masses and the traders cheerfully responded to the Biafra freedom
songs they were chanting as they evangelise.
Many social analysts have concluded that the election boycott and the
sit at home will be successful in Biafra land because the people has lost
interest in the politics of Nigeria for so long.
The leader of IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has continued to urge the
Republicans of Biafrans to boycott the Nigeria presidential election on 16th
February, 2019 because it will pave way for the speedy restoration of
Biafra, he equally made it known to them and Biafrans that the result gotten
from the election boycott will be used as the referendum result and should
Biafrans achieve a sixty percent result or above, which he is sure will
be more than, then Biafra has won.
