It is another time of election in the contraption called Nigeria when the same politicians that have been holding the country to ransom decide how and who will lead the country and to enslave the people of the country more. The politicians in Nigeria are mostly the retired military officers.

In this twenty years of said democracy in Nigeria, Obasanjo who was a military officer and one of the vultures ruled this country with a hard fist for the period of eight years with no sign of Democratic tenets. He ruled like a military man that does anything he wants without the consent of the people. He made attempt to rule for a third tenure against their concocted constitution, but for the mercy of God, he would have succeeded in the bid for a third term.

Yaradua took over from Obasanjo, unfortunate he died and his vice Goodluck Jonathan, who is not a member of the vultures that decide who rules this country took over. The same group of retired military officers, the vultures started lamenting that they will make the government of Jonathan ungovernable and they succeeded by ousting Goodluck from office and enthroned this ethno_ religious bigot and tyrant called Mohammed Buhari who has been strangling the country economically, politically, socially, democratically and otherwise.

The same vultures are now gathering again to remove the monster and tyrant called Buhari and to impose another person from among the vultures. There is an indication that they want to impose another vulture in the person of a retired military officer, namely, David Mark. David Alechenu Bonaventure Mark, seventy years old, was born on April 1, 1948, a retired Nigeria Army Brigadier General and politician. He was the president of the Senate from 2007 to 2015 and he is the senator for the Benue south constituency; a member of the People’s Democratic Party.

He was the chairman Abandoned properties implementation committee in the Eastern region in 1976 after the war. He was the military governor of Niger state from 1984 to 1986 and also a former minister of communication. David Mark was known for his blunt talk, he said that telephone is not for the poor, he also had an opinion of the death penalty for telecom cable thieves when he was the minister of communication as well as a policy of dismantling of underutilized telecoms facilities for towns that have limited use of phone network. He as all Nigerian politicians is tainted with corruption, the most prominent being the 400 million-naira contract scandal. In 2009, he was quoted as saying that gender equality is not possible in Nigerian politics and Senate.

In all these, we can see that the vultures are gathering again to impose another vulture from the group of retired military officers on the country. Tell me how he can be a good leader when he is a member of the vultures, and had supported a death penalty for a mere thief and no such for the corrupt politicians; supported gender inequality in Nigeria politics!
