THE Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Africa continental representative, Mazi George Onyibe affirmed that
the communal war in Biafra land especially in Ebonyi state was caused by the
Nigerian cabals, the Hausa Fulani(s) and their Yoruba counterparts who do not
want peace and oneness among Biafrans.
He stated this on Radio Biafra London
evening live broadcast anchored by the deputy leader of IPOB, Mazi Uche Okafor
Mefor on Tuesday, June 26 2018 during the
phone in segment of the transmission when he phoned in from Biafra land.
He maintained that the major reason why
the Hausa Fulani and Yoruba(s), masterminded communal and tribal war in some
communities and states in Biafra land through boundary dispute was to ensure
disunity among Biafrans, because their unity; peace and coexistence pose a big
threat to one Nigeria.
Recall that Ngbo in Ohaukwu LGA Ebonyi
state and the Agala people in Benue state has being in communal war for the
past 100 years, of which thousands of lives and property worth billions destroyed,
yet nothing has being done by the Nigeria government to curb it, instead they
connive with their murderous security operatives to worsen the situation.
The case is not different with the
people of Izzi LGA Ebonyi state and Yala
LGA in Cross River state that has being in land disputed war since 2000, of
recent the war between Izzi people in Ebonyi state and Yala LGA in Cross River
state heated up more than before with higher lose of lives and property worth
billions, but in all these peril the Nigeria government seems to be unaware as
muteness has being their attitude and reaction to the crisis and fatal wars
that has done more harm than good to the populace.
While vetting his anger on the ugly
situation on the radio transmission, Mazi George Onyibe called on Biafrans
irrespective of affiliation and tribe to join hands together and end the
communal wars and conflicts in the entire Biafra territories, because with
dispute and divided house, getting Biafra restored will be a hard nut to crack
though nothing will stop this generation from getting Biafra restored.
