IPOB, Biafra, Ebonyi
The indegenous people of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu inaugurated a new family unit on Sunday April 8, 2018 in Achara Nkaliki at Ebonyi Local government Area, Abakaliki province of Biafra land.
A native of the community who reside at Igweocha province of Biafra as well as a hardcore member of IPOB in Igweocha, Mazi Kelvin Edema while addressing the members of his community who came out to identify with IPOB under the supreme leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and to be part of the struggle appreciated them for finding reasons to come out and join the struggle for Biafra restoration, he applauded the level of doggedness exhibited by the Abakaliki province of IPOB chapter in making sure that the gospel gets to the nooks and crannies of the province.
The Ebonyi north senatorial district coordinator Mazi Ezike Wisdom while addressing them, took time to explain why the struggle to restore Biafra by IPOB anchored by Nnamdi Kanu and what they need do to get Biafra restored, even as Biafrans are anticipating heading to the poll of referendum to make choices either for Biafra or against Biafra, as the date will be made known to the public as at when due.
Meanwhile the Abakaliki province IPOB coordinator Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya who graced the inauguration ceremony held at Achara Nkaliki, urged them to remain steadfast despite what they will face on the journey to their freedom, he said "the freedom of Biafra is at hand but a lot of work still need to be done and we must avail ourselves for the task, because no other people will do it for us and that is why we must do everything within our reach to get Biafra restored" 'Biafra is our only nation" he added.
A member of the new family unit Chukwuma Nwifuru, during the question and answer segment, demand to know if it is right to belong to IPOB and at the same time to a Nigeria political party. While reacting to that the senatorial district coordinator Mazi Ezike Wisdom said it is better to concentrate effort in IPOB or if you can not be able to do that then go to where your heart leads you, but it is wrong to be a member of the two at the same time; because they doesn't share similar ideology favorable to both.
The official inauguration was performed by Ebonyi north senatorial district coordinator, Mazi Ezike Wisdom and they were handed over to the hands of Chukwuokikeabiama for protection and guidance.
On his own the coordinator of the new family unit Mazi Nwede Moses pledged his total loyalty to IPOB and her supreme leader and promised to work hard with his executives and entire members to take the gospel round the jurisdiction.
