Thomas Paine wrote and I concur, "The real man smiles in trouble, gathers strength from distress, and grows brave by reflection." The question is, "Are we still the Real Men or has we turned into the opposite.

What has happened to Umuchiukwu Writers? What has happened to our gallant and vibrant young men and women out there in our Media Houses who had in the past stood firmly and fought alongside with our able Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu during his unlawful incarceration? Where are my soldiers? Where are My Heroes and Heroines? Where are you?! Have you all been so suppressed by the government of the contraption called Nigeria that you have lost your sense of belonging and human dignity? Oh! Why have you scattered away like cowards leaving your motherland in the hands of total strangers? Chai! Our forefathers and those who fought for our sakes during the Nigeria - Biafran war must be very ashamed of this generation for their cowardice.

I remember when Umuchiukwu Writers Forum was as hot as fire and everyone in it was up and doing. But looking at the way things are right now, I doubt if some of us are still hanging in there. What has really transpired?

I remember back in the day when Nwa-Ada Ugochinyere Onyechere would forbid her sleep and would dial me up in the middle of the night and she would say "Ozulumba let's do this! Let's just dismantle the zoo called Nigeria and their lies with our ARTICLES!

Yes! I still vividly recall when Mazi Immanuel Immanuel would say to me,  " Ozulumba, you know I have an exam to write the next day but we gotta write for Biafra because life on its own is all about examining and testing and our freedom is a priority here."

Oh, yea! Those days are still fresh in my memory when Mazi Chukwu Iheke Okoronkwo would abandon all his personal activities and indulge in a  very risky field research with the others just for the sake of Biafra.

And I still recollect very well, how Nwa-Ada Chimena Mary used to be a great pain in the ass of every Dick and Harry up in the forum as she normally made fuss about everything and grumble about everything, like who and who was greatly favored in the house and she would call for everyone's attention...and we would at the end of the day devote our time consoling and placating with her just for the sake of peace to prevail, but in the end she would still put something down. And we had all loved her for that. But those beautiful moments have gone. Am so sad! And that brings me asking us, "where in the world is Mary Chimena?!"

Yes, It is still registered at the back of my mind when Mazi Chinonso Igwebuike Mba would download all his naughty jokes upon us and would still find it incumbent upon himself to write for our dear nation.

What really has happened to those beautiful days?! Is it that we are now tired of the struggle? Has our love for our nation diminished to the extent that some of us had to abandon their duty posts? Or Is it that we are so busy these freaking days that we find it very difficult to make out time to write for our lovely country?

Well, let me still jog your memory about what  Maya Angelou said, "There's no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you." Are you really sure you wanna contend with that?

Listen up folks, in case you all have forgotten, Our Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his deputy Mazi Uche Mefor are great men of valor. They are what one can comfortably refer to as REAL MEN and they have many a time proven it to us through their leadership. We should all learn to follow their footsteps.

Let's "MAN-UP" to our RESPONSIBILITIES, shall we! Dulling is not an option here. We are soldiers remember, and we are born to fight for the freedom of our dear nation. We are the Golden Generation and it is our duty to restore Biafra. And there is no way to do it better if not through our "Pen" and "Paper." As we turn back to taking up our various duties in our various departments, it shall be well with us and Chiukwu-Abiama will take all the glory.
