The indigenous people of Biafra under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Ebonyi state chapter on Thursday 11, 2018 officially inaugurated the long and awaited family unit in Okpoto at Ishielu LGA Ebonyi state Biafra land.
The inauguration was one of the kind in the state as the state IPOB coordinator Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya and all the members of the state executives graced the inauguration, it also had in attendance some sons of the soil in other States within and outside Biafra land who are already in the struggle to restore Biafra under the umbrella of IPOB.
The inauguration started with prayers by the state IPOB PRO Bishop Nwachinemerem Stanley, he prayed for the entire members of IPOB worldwide as well as their supreme leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, that Chukwuokike Abiama should continue to guard and protect them wherever they are despite the evil plot of the enemies against them.
The state coordinator Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya during his address to those who gathered for the official inauguration, stated that the struggle for the restoration of Biafra will soon come to a successful end because the indigenous people of Biafra under the supreme command and control of Nnamdi Kanu has proved to humanity that Biafra is due to exit the contraption called Nigeria through their various programs and activities across the globe, he equally urged them to stand strong as to face whatever that may come, he noted that it will be unwise for anyone to fold his hands and go to sleep knowing that the enemies are awake or perhaps retreat while what is after him/her did not stop.
Bishop Nwachinemerem Stanley while addressing the people advised them to be more vigilant and be mindful of whom they discuss activities of IPOB with especially those who are not oath members. One of the mobilizer Mazi Egu Kelechi who is a dedicated member of IPOB in Igweocha a native of Okpoto who help to bring them together, urged his people to do whatever they can to keep the fire burning in their jurisdiction and beyond, and try to give the whole support needed and obey the command of the supreme leadership of IPOB, also try to make financial contributions because it cost to run the struggle and it is the members of IPOB that sponsor all their activities not the politicians and that is why it is important for all and sundry to make sure they contributed financially to the success of the struggle, making sure that they pay their monthly dues both for national and state.

Meanwhile, Ogeh Friday Igiri urged them to embrace the media and contribute in the media war because there are a lot of battle that goes on in the media especially the internet on daily bases, he equally explained the benefits of the media in the struggle because media is the best platform the people use to register their plight and disseminate the pogrom and the atrocities meted on them by the government.
Thereafter, the state coordinator having clarified all the issues bothering in the minds of some persons as it regard the questions raised, performed the inauguration proper and the unit executives were called out and the mantle of leadership handed to them and Mazi Unachi Ifeanyi who is the coordinator of the new unit on behalf of the executives and the unit members appreciated the state executives for making out time to grace the inaugural occasion despite heavy schedules, he expressed his joy over the inauguration and recognition of the unit, he pledged to work assiduously with his colleagues to see that the light handed to them remained on as he assured for more units within the jurisdiction in no distant time as to meet up with the requirements that will make up a zone.
The occasion was brought to an end with a prayer by Egu Kelechi who committed them to the hand of Chukwuokike Abiama and prayed for the grace to remain strong and focused till Biafra finally actualized, he equally prayed for the safe journey of those who came from far and near for the inauguration as well as the wellbeing of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of IPOB wherever he is.
