‘IGWEBUIKE’ IS OUR MOTOR. ‘ONURUBE NWANNE AGBANA OSO’ IS OUR SLOGAN.
On Monday 11th December 2017, IPOB family under the supreme command of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu paid a visit to one of our own Mazi Ugochukwu Ugorji at Ishiala Ngwa in Abia State Biafraland where he is receiving treatment. Our brother Mazi Ugorji was hit and ran over with armoured personnel carrier APC by the Nigeria murderous soldiers in Operation Python dance 2 at Ishiala Ngwa Abia State, on the 12th day of September 2017, which preceded a day to 14th September 2017 that they finally invaded the home of our leader and abducted him and his parents killing scores of IPOB and family members of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Up until today we have not seen or heard from our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and we are still asking the Nigeria Army to provide him dead or alive.
Recall that on the 12th of September 2017 the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu raised an alarm via his Deputy Mazi Uche Okafor Mefor on Radio Biafra at about 9-10am in the morning calling on all IPOB members in Biafraland to as a matter of urgency move down to Isiama Afaraukwu Ibeku in Umuahia, the home of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu because the murderous Nigerian soldiers laid siege in his home in the name of operation Python Dance 2. The defenceless, armless and ever peaceful Biafrans mobilised themselves as usual from all nukes and crannies of Biafraland and headed straight to Umuahia without delay because we cannot sit back and watch the Nigeria murderous soldiers to kill our leader for not committing any crime known to any law. Our aim was just to prove to the world that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not alone, that Biafrans in our millions supports Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the course he is fighting for which is the restoration of Biafra and the freedom of the people of Biafra.
We all set on our way to Umuahia to support our leader, as armless people who believe in the strength of togetherness (Igwebuike). We were not with any arm not even a stick, we only had in our possession Biafra flags, T-shirts, mufflers, face-cap and other customised Biafra items. On the way getting to Ishiala Ngwa the Nigeria murderous soldiers and combined force of Police, Navy and Air force blocked the road and started shooting at the innocent armless Biafrans in vehicles heading to Umuahia without provocation, everybody scattered scampering for safety. Many ran into bush as the murderous security forces continued to pursue them, many were killed on the spot, many sustained different degrees of injuries from live bullets and tear gas canister, many lost and have not returned till today. It was on the process of pursuing the innocent Biafrans that they hit down and ran over many Biafrans with armoured tank which our dear brother Mazi Ugochukwu Ugorji was one of them. Seeing that many have died on the spot and that the intention of the barbaric military was to kill every Biafran they get at on the spot, he applied wisdom by pretending to be dead so they passed him. The bones and flesh of his legs and hips were crushed to pieces, to an extent that his flesh was gummed to the coal tar but Chukwu Okike Abiama preserved his life. The gallant Biafrans who never abandon their own on discovering that he is alive rescued him immediately and took him to hospital where he is been treated.
Since 12th of September 2017 Mazi Ugorji who got married not long ago with a year and three months daughter cannot stand with his legs or even sit down properly, he is the bread winner of his family including his parents.
The happiest thing is that Mazi Ugochukwu Ugorji not minding the circumstances he is in still maintain his resolve that it is “Biafra or death”. What does that tell you? Biafra is a spirit (Nnukwu Agbala). Killing and maiming can never ever quench the spirit of Biafra.
