Ofe Nsala day was on 22nd of October, 2017 observed by Umuchiukwu Writers. This event, which took place in the great city of Nnewi in Anambra State, Biafra land, the very home of late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu (The Ikemba 1 of Nnewi) will prove to the entire world, the IPOB resolve, over the issue of elections boycott in Biafra land.
Recall that in recent time, the Supreme leader of IPOB was traveling from one city to another, all in Biafra Land preaching to his people the need to Boycott the Anambra State Gubernatorial Election and other elections in Biafra Land till a date for a referendum is given.
Regarding this, Umuchiukwu writers which are made up of young talented Writers and musicians had decided to show other Biafrans, both in the diaspora and at home how it is done by kicking the ball straight into the net. And guess what, a goal was scored!
It was on a Sunday afternoon on the aforesaid date. A miracle that would lead to the greatest miracle (the restoration of Biafra) of all time had occurred. The process of the election boycott was once again initiated. It is a pathway to the main event which comes up on 18th of November 2017.
This time around, the gospel was not carried by the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu but by his Followers just like the disciples of Yahweh Yahshua had spread the WORD after he had gone.
The Ohamadike (Kanu) who was illegally attacked by the Nigerian government on the 11th, 13th, and 14th of September, 2017 at his family home in Afara-Ukwu Ibeku, Umuahia in Biafra land so as to stop him from spreading the gospel of Chiukwu Abiama which he has come to deliver to his own people has already done his own part by instigating the process of the election boycott. The rest is now left for us to fulfill. this heavenly task is now incumbent on us to carry out.
Since the occurrence of this evil invasion by the marauding armies of the Islamic caliphate, the monsters from the pit of hell that dominated the Nigerian Military newly launched Special force called Operation Python Dance II, Kanu’s whereabouts have remained unknown.
In reaction to this rude, unlawful and inhumane act taken by the foes of IPOB, who are doing all they can to stop this kingdom of God called Biafra from being restored on this very earth, IPOB now calls on the world leaders, Human Rights Organizations and other peacekeeping agencies in the world to address their plight by urging the Nigerian government to free their leader, Mazi Kanu whom they believe is now in the Nigerian army custody and as well grant the Indigenous People of Biafra their absolute freedom.
Regarding the election boycott which Mazi Kanu had set out to preach to his own people before he was attacked, IPOB has remained resolute and true to the preacher’s instructions. This great message is now being sermonized by another set of special individuals, unique and naturally endowed. They are the Umuchiukwu Writers!
The Nigerian government in their animalistic way of thinking has failed to understand that Biafra in its entirety is the “Truth” which can never be killed. No matter how hard one may try to destroy the truth, it still prevails. To further clarify on this, allow me to take you to Winston Churchill’s philosophical statement on the concept of TRUTH. According to Churchill, ‘The Truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.” Biafra is the epitome of Truth. It is an IDEOLOGY which can never be buried.
But many a time, the so-called Nigerian leaders in conjunction with the British government have struggled to bury IPOB but never realized that IPOB is like a Bean that germinates. The spirit of Biafra always prevails.
Now, back to the major topic of discussion (Ofe Nsala Day). As the Umuchiukwu Writers were savoring this popular and tasteful Biafran delicacy called “Nsala Soup,” they had availed themselves the opportunity to reflect on so many issues regarding their struggle for Biafra Independence. One of the matters discussed by these group of young, eagle-eyed journalists was the concept of WESTERN RELIGION (The aspect of Christianity brought by the western world to Africa) IN JUXTAPOSITION WITH THE BIAFRA AGITATION.
This very concept, since the inception of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB struggle for independence has activated fear in the hearts of many Biafrans who are now under the illusions that the restoration of Biafra will not only completely delete the aforesaid religion and may as well not allow a freedom of worship in Biafra land.
To counter this, my good friend, Ichie Nduka whom we fondly call “Shaker Man” took it upon himself as a duty to clarify this very point to our guests. Shaker never failed to underscore some certain areas where the westerners had lied to us concerning this religion they have brought to Africa which of course originated from the land of Israel. In fact, the young man did a wonderful work here.
As he, Shaker man would rightfully quote, “The Umuchiukwu Writers are invading.” After watching him discuss on this idea, I had come to the conclusion that this ebullient music producer who is still in his youthful age is multi-talented. Not only could he do music, he could also teach!
Believe me, when I tell you this, only those who have the spirit of Biafra in them can exhibit such talents. Go and ask our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and he will educate you properly on this. But then, the Nigerian government still has him.
Though not all the Umuchiukwu writers were present during this meeting due to circumstances beyond their control, My humble self, Ikenna Ozulumba Mbaegbu was there live! And Shaker Man (the great music producer) was also there. And Janey Janey (The gospel singer) also came. And guess what? Onyechere Ugochinyere showed up too! And Mazi Nwaiwu Chiukwuebuka was present as well. Even Chimaobim and Mazi Eziwetalu Peter full ground. And we also had external people in our midst as well, in the persons of Afamefuna Okala, Nelson Classic Okey, Mazi Collins Chukwuemeka Ali who is fondly called “Assiga” by his close friends, Mazi Emma Igboabuchi and the rest of them who had joined the Umuchiukwu Writers on this wonderful and spiritual feasting! It was indeed a grand finale!
But we couldn’t have achieved this whole thing had the Umuchiukwu Writers’ leader, Mazi UDEAGHA AGWU OBASI who is, of course, answerable to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu hadn't given out the directives and immensely laid his own support towards this heavenly gathering on Sunday. And to him, we say “Nwa Chineke remain blessed!”
In conclusion, we the Umuchiukwu Writers are hereby urging Biafrans all over the world to emulate our action (The Pre- Ofe Nsala Day Celebration) and boycott elections in Biafra land because that is one of the things that will lead to what will get us Biafra. Remember, the referendum is what we are only asking for. Our clamoring for a referendum is not a call for war. It is either the Nigerian Government gives us a date for a referendum or there will be no more elections in Biafra land. it is as simple as that!
