BIAFRANS RED LINE TO NIGERIA AND THE IMMINENT WHIPPING OUT OF NIGERIA

Prior to the hot wind of events that have taken up the Nigerian media as to the re-arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, it is wise to understand that in the animal kingdom, the lion and the dog don’t trail in the same path. Before the lion takes up a path for its journey, it roars loud to alert its prey of its presence in the path that any stubborn animal that crosses its path can't be spared.

In this backdrop, the Indigenous People of Biafra Worldwide under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have unequivocally condemned the plot and the move being on the pipeline by the Federal Government of Nigeria to re-arrest their leader. This as requested by Kashim Shettima who lead Arewa Youths group during his court appearance on the 17th of October 2017.

IPOB peaceful approach to the restoration of Biafra since its inception in 2012 have been inarguably next to none in the whole world since the history of freedom fighting.  This can be satisfactorily proven by all and sundry as such should never be seen as an act of cowardice or weakness but a means to show our level of civility and our ability to control our temperament in the face of any un-wanting provocation.

Therefore, having chosen to trade on the path of peace to give way for referendum which is what Nnamdi Kanu has being asking for, the international bodies that are saddled with the responsibility to abrogate Nigeria to give way to the yearnings of the Indigenous people of Biafra to actualize their dreamed nation should as a matter of urgency compel the present government of Nigeria to set aside a date for referendum that the people will determine on which part of the country to belong.

Nigeria being a signatory to UN Charter and to the rights of the Indigenous people, is by all means under mandate to give a voice to the people of Biafra by exercising the right to that Charter other than being sectional and divisional in their approach to the call for referendum of which have being the cries of the leader of IPOB. They have ironically termed the call for referendum as Treason in order to quench the WILL of the Indigenous people of Biafra and it is highly unacceptable by the Indigenous people of Biafra.

The re-arrest of the IPOB leader will eventually spark fire and brimstone on the Nigerian government. For sectionalism on its own is an act of treason which Nigeria government is highly guilty of and the Arewa Youths under the leadership of Kashim Shettima have publicly committed treason on the quit notice issued to the South Easterners of the present-day Nigeria.  Up till now, the government of Nigeria has not yet taken any step to arrest or even caution the leader of Arewa Youths since his so-called "Kaduna Declaration" but rather prefer to shield him from facing the Law thereby backing such divisive and atrocious declaration against a particular set of people. The government of Nigeria has decided to tighten their robes in re-arresting of Nnamdi Kanu because they believe that he is a son of nobody.

It is widely said in Igbo adage that "it is only when a mad person is killed that you will know that he has people and relatives". Therefore, in light of this the youths of Biafra under the leadership of Prince Mazi Nnamdi Kanu are using this medium to make it clear that re-arresting Nnamdi Kanu has been marked as the RED LINE to the Nigerian government. As such, they should desist from such thought else if it is their earnest desire to see the Lugardian empire collapse in the twinkle of the eye because Nnamdi Kanu has not in any form or means committed treason for his quest to the restoration of Biafra Nation but Shettima has in his anti-Igbo's declaration.

Finally, the Federal Government of Nigeria should know that IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have sworn an oath to restore Biafra from the grips of the British government and their Northern counterparts. For the sake of unborn Biafrans and for those that died under the brutality of the Nigerian combined military force in our different rallies, IPOB has vowed to restore Biafra and no threat of any sort can change that.
