• As He Receives Traditional Title From Ohafia Elders

It was a charged atmosphere yesterday as the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, stormed the Ohafia community where he was welcomed by traditional rulers from the 26 villages of Ohafia Udumezema land.

During the auspicious event, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was adorned with the Ohafia traditional chieftaincy attire and also awarded with a chieftaincy title; (ONYE YA ANIYA AKWU OGWE 1 OF BIAFRA LAND).

Kanu who expressed great happiness regarding the honour bestowed on him assured the monarchs and people of Ohafia whom he referred as the land of the first warriors in Igbo land, reiterated his resolve and commitment to the Biafra project.

He also made it clear that there is no going back on election boycott in Anambra State and the whole of Biafra land until Biafra referendum is assured.

He said, “We have our brothers who are still in detention; Benjamin Madubugwu, David Nwabuisi, Chidiebere Onwudiwe and Bright Chimezie are still in prison, they did not commit any crime known to man and they are asking us to go and vote.  It cannot happen”.

Kanu also took a swipe on Arewa elders and youths, stating that they committed treason by issuing the October 1st quit notice on Biafrans inhabiting the Northern region of the country but that the authorities choose to look the other way because they are dominating the Security council of the country.

“Arewa elders and their youths who committed high treason by giving us quit notice from the north and threatened to massacre us and take our properties after October 1, are walking free, because they are in army, police, navy, air force  and top positions in government, they are in power. They hate us because we are Biafrans; children of God.

“They are imprisoning us, torturing us, killing us, and milking our oil dry. We are only asking for our freedom, we are not asking for war, we want to be on our own the way we were before the invasion of the British. We must boycott all election in Biafra land until we are granted referendum,” Kanu added.
