The federal government has devised another strategy to deceive Biafrans, an attempt to stop them from agitating for their freedom for independence. This can be seen in their recent actions to join Biafrans in marking the Biafra 50th Anniversary.
In a news report given by naij.com, it has been 50 years since the Nigeria/Biafra war was fought. In remembrance of the war, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, and seven other leaders have been chosen for a crucial speech. The conference, at which the leaders will make their speeches, is aimed at stirring a sober reflection and giving a new direction of polity in Nigeria.
Former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, and seven other leaders will be speaking to Nigerians regarding “the importance of Biafra” in Nigerian history. The leaders are scheduled to speak on Thursday, May 25th, at a conference on the "Memory and Nation Building – Biafra: 50 Years After."
At the one-day conference, which will hold at the Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja by 9 am, Osinbajo is expected to deliver a keynote address. A statement by the Foundation listed other speakers as a former permanent secretary of information, education and industry, Alhaji Ahmed Joda; President General Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo; and Professor John Stremlau of the University of Witwatersrand who will serve as lead speakers. Honorable Chudi Offodile and Honourable Nkoyo Toyo will chair panel discussions and Professor Pat Utomi will serve as the conference moderator.
The statement read:
“ The 50th anniversary of the declaration of the Republic of Biafra in 1967 offers an opportunity for sober reflection on a number of issues including lessons learned that may be useful in dealing with contemporary challenges confronting Nigeria."
A Cultural Night will feature performance poetry and a screening of Afia Attack – the untold“survival stories of women during the civil war." And this has made me wonder, how could elderly people, such as Obasanjo and the rest of Nigeria elders and elite choose to be confusions to the extent of confusing themselves? These are the same people that used every opportunity given to them to declare Biafra dead and forgotten. These are the very people that never wanted to hear anyone mention the name Biafra. They pronounced dead on anyone or group that made mention of that name, Biafra. How could these same people turn around to say they want to remember Biafra at this period of time? For the past 50 years, they never thought of Biafra. Why this time? For your information, your actions to observe the day, (the Biafra 50th Anniversary day) are of no importance to the Indigenous People of Biafra.
This is the same government that has been killing and molesting Biafrans simply because they choose to remember their heroes and heroines who died in the said Nigeria/Biafra war. They called it the 50th anniversary of the Republic of Biafra just to deceive us. When did this actually start? It is obvious that the zoo government has been struggling and doing everything humanly possible to stop Biafrans from observing the Biafra 50th anniversary day. Therefore, the zoo government through its underdog's agents, those animals in uniforms called DSS and the worst of mortal beings called Fulani herdsmen have been killing, arresting, harassing, molesting, and committing all sorts of evil in Biafra land just to make sure that Biafrans do not keep the aforementioned anniversary.
But once again this British evil creation called Nigeria has failed in their plot to destabilize and confuse us. We Biafrans now know better. We have now understood perfectly well the evil game they are playing. Just because all their efforts to stop us from agitating for our freedom have proved abortive, they have now turned back to indicate their interest in the Biafra 50th anniversary. This is indeed laughable. And what makes it more laughable is when they have planned to host the big event in Abuja. First off, they are not Biafrans and secondly, Abuja is not Biafra land.
Again, they talked about sober reflection. They actually think they can fool Biafrans with their organized rubbish! If I may ask, is it their constant massacre of Biafrans, through their underdog agents called DSS, a.k.a Fulani/Herdsmen that they want to sober for? This statement alone portrays the foolishness inherent the minds of those misfits who call themselves leaders of the zoological republic of Nigeria. Sometimes I pause to ponder about the level of stupidity existing in the zoo. How can you order for the killings of a people and come back to talk about sober reflection as regards to it? But that is the zoo for you, the very home of Baboons and monkeys. A place that the people living in it lack the ability to reason properly as humans.
The same people that order for the massacre of Biafrans whenever the message about Biafra restoration is carried or preached are the ones to speak on the importance of “Biafra” in Nigerian History. It does not really add up. But then, welcome to the Zoological Republic of Nigeria.
The zoo government has completely failed in all its efforts stop the agitation for the restoration of Biafra and has now devised a new means, which they called “The 50th anniversary of the declaration of the Republic of Biafra…” to deceive us, the Indigenous People of Biafra. But one thing those misfits parading themselves as Zoo leaders have failed to understand is that Biafra is a divine project and the God of Biafrans, the Almighty Okike who is in heaven-sanctioned it. Neither their evil powers nor their tricks can stop its emergence.
