Sunday 12th March, 2017 was a memorable day to the Indigenous People  of Biafra,IPOB,Enugu North Senatorial district and indeed Enugu state and Biafra land in general. 

 The said day witnessed the bringing to birth some zonal families in three local governments of the district. 
These local governments which include; Igbo-Eze North, Igbo-Eze South and Nsukka were said to have hitherto not involved in the activities of IPOB under the able leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Biafra restoration except but for a few individuals.

The people of the area came out en-mass to welcome the state executives,and the inaugural team led by Mazi Chukwukadibia Chiemeka, who also is the coordinator for the district as well as to be a part of the history making event. 

In fact, the epoch making event,which was a kind of the gatherings of creme la creme of people in the LGAs as an opportunity to be accounted amongst the pioneer members of IPOB in their environs. This event,which attracted all genders of every categories of both old and young as well as titled men,clergies and veterans served as a time the people were educated on main goal of IPOB, which is the restoration of our identity and nation, Biafra.

The state coordinator, Mazi Eze Nwachukwu Eze,who presided over the various inaugural programs at the three different locations, in his speech explained to all the members the expectation from them letting them to know that IPOB under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu is like no other. And that to be a good member you must be whiter than white and whiter than snow because this restoration is a divine project. 

On the other hand, the deputy state coordinator,Mazi Ikedinekpere Okoli,urged the people to stand firm against any behavior that could undermine our purpose. He also said that Biafra is our identity and destiny and as a matter of fact, we will take it in our hands. 

In her own speech, the state woman leader, Oriaku Onyekachi Ubenyi called on the male members to make effort to bring their wives, mothers, sisters and female friends to come and receive this good news that will change them for good. She also advised the men to be leading their wives and mothers to the farms to protect them from fulani herdsmen, who had been marauding in our land killing, raping and maiming our people mostly women. 

In the three local governments,there seven zonal families that were created. Each of the coordinators,who spoke to our Madia team expressed happiness over the event and pledged to be dedicated and work hard to bring in other people in the IPOB family in their areas of coordination
