BIAFRA:AN INTERVIEW GRANTED BY NWAIWU CHIUKWUEBUKA FOR UMUCHIUKWU WRITERS
I was opportune to give an interview to one of the members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) who was unluckily a victim of the brutality of the Nigerian army on 3rd October 2016. He was brutally beaten up by Nigerian army for been addressed as a Biafran by his friends, while he was on duty, at fly over Aba Abia State Biafran land by the same murderous Nigerian army of 144 battalions that killed unarmed Biafra protesters on February 9th, 2016, at National High School. Below is the proceedings of the interview, though at this time of the report, the incident has taken place already.

"My names are Stephen Ejike Egwuatuowu from Umuahia Ebiekwu, am a member of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB). As a matter of fact, am an Okada rider. We Biafrans are always targeted by the Nigerian army.
On the 3rd of October 2016, I was at my Okada unit at fly over Aba; I was discussing some Biafran issues with my friends. Suddenly, a friend of mine called me a Biafran, as usual since everybody uses such name as an identity. Unfortunately for me, there was some Nigerian Army closer to me. They were three in number. On hearing that, they called me and asked if I was the one referred to as a Biafran. I agreed in response to their questions, which resulted in the beating and the destruction of my Okada.

They ganged up and beat me mercilessly continually. In addition they took me to their camp at rock oil filling station and tied me upside down I was there for more than forty-five minutesI was unable to breathe properly because am fragile, then one army man from Anambra became sympathetic, and ordered them to untie me, upon their refusal, he came and untie me , I fell on the ground.

He carried me up by helping me to walk till we reached my wife store I slept there till someone took me to my house, since then I have not been myself, my ribs and all parts of my body still pains me as am talking to you now , but despite all their intimidations I prefer to die a Biafran than been a saboteur". He conclusively stated.
