Two things have set Northern Nigerians to advise their current leader, Muhammadu Buhari, to appoint only Northerners in key positions in his government. apart from Buhari’s Islamisation agenda, Biafrexit campaigns and pipeline bombings in Niger Delta, are the two major reasons.

The success of those two activities, driving by Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the oil-pipeline bombing, are what is driving Northerners to engage in last minutes rush to steal as much Nigerian resources as they could, before it collapses. They fear greatly that Nigeria was already on the process of collapsing.

Finding reveals that the Biafrexit campaign was succeeding more than could be imagined. It is a campaign Biafrans are mounting across to globe to sensitize the international community for Biafra, and to have them pile pressure on Nigerian leaders to hold a referendum that would determine whether Biafrans would want to steal remain in Nigeria or opt out.

It is for this reason that Buhari appoints only Northerners in all positions in the country. It is the Northerner’s reaction to the ominous signs of Nigeria’s continuous descent into extinction. They want to be in a position to grab everything before the final death of the country.

Another reason is the bombing of oil pipelines, which was being done by Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) as they continue with the bombing campaigns against oil pipelines in their “Operation Red Economy”. It is already dealing devastating blows on Nigerian economy.

Is the fear of the consequences that made Northern leaders to advice Buhari to load his government with Northerners so that they could corner and steal the remaining resources before the bubble bursts.
