Campaign for Democracy seeks security summit on Biafra, herdsmen marauders -authorityngr

The Campaign for Democracy (CD) has called for se­curity summit to be or­ganised by South East governors in view of the security challenges fac­ing the southeast geopo­litical zone in recent time stressing that the summit is important considering the several killings of pro Biafra protesters, anxiety over the presence of Fu­lani herdsmen and other cases of violent crimes.

The CD in a statement issued in Onitsha by its National Publicity Sec­retary Dede Uzor Uzor said that the summit is imperative because of the recent killing of un­armed youths who were members of pro-Biafra groups as the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) in the zone and the kill­ing of innocent people at Nimbo community in Enugu State, adding that
