President of a socio-cultural group under the aegis of Njiko Igbo Forum (NIF), Rev. Okechukwu Obioha, on Wednesday May 18, 2016 said his group was in full support of the protest march against the fuel price increase by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The group which commended the boldness of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) led by Ayuba Wabba, commended the NLC for defying the kangaroo court order which attempted to restrain the NLC from carrying out the protest against the fuel price hike.
According to Vanguard, Obioha described the President Buhari’s administration as a government of fraud and rigmarole.
He said Buhari’s administration had failed Nigerians considering the mouthwatering promises the APC gave to Nigerians during the electioneering campaigns.
Obioha said court orders are to be ignored saying “We can’t be talking of any court injunction because this is a government that does not respect the rule of law”.

According to him, Buhari’s government has flouted many judgments and orders of courts, hence there is no need talking about court injunctions which President Buhari himself does not obey.
He said courts gave orders for the release of Nnamdi Kanu and Sambo Dasuki but Buhari flouted the orders of the courts.
Following Buhari’s continuous disobedience to court orders, he said all Nigerians should remain at home until the demands of NLC are met.
He said the desperate measures of the president should not be allowed to see the daylight, maintaining that the president is confused, hence he has no direction
“There is so much dishonesty on the part of this government; so much fraud against the masses and this is the time to resist it,” he said.
