The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Igweocha Rivers State Biafraland, storms Aba Road on the 7th February 2020 in solidarity match for the burial of Late HRM Israel Okwu Kanu and his Late wife, Lolo Sally Ugoeze Okwu Kanu of Isiama Afaraukwu Ibeku Umuahia Abia State, who will be led to rest on the 14th of February, 2020.

It was a massive movement of fearless Biafran activists who vowed that their beloved King and Queen must be buried honourably. No obstacles on their way can stop them, because they are determined. The solidarity match was masterminded by the state coordinator and anchored by Mazi Sunny Isaac Onyema who led the movement from Aba express Road about 4 kilometres to where they stopped.

IPOB in their hundreds matched gallantly, fearlessly and peacefully as always. Vibrant volunteers where in the forefront of the match. Men, women, Youths, children, passers-by and motorcyclists were not left behind as they all joined the match to show the world that they are fearless before their enemies. They matched with banners of the late King and Queen. Israeli flags, American flag and Biafran flag in numbers were been flaunted as well, and no casualties or stampede.

However, after the solidarity match, IPOB Igweocha Rivers State had a Service of Song for the memories of HRM Israel Okwu Kanu and his late wife, Lolo Sally Ugoeze Okwu Kanu. It was a candle night in their memories. Tears flow as many Biafrans shares their encounter on how Lolo Sally Ugoeze Okwu Kanu was so generous each time they visit the hometown of IPOB Leader to pay homage to him. She was loving, caring and indeed a wonderful mother. Nothing inspires them more than the support Late King and Queen gave to their son, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. They gave 100% support for their son to continue propagating the gospel of Biafra. They died for freedom after the inversion of the Nigerian military. They have fought a good fight for the restoration of Biafra.

However, Mazi Sunny Isaac Onyema, a L.G.A Coordinator who anchored the match told the Rivers Media that IPOB is unstoppable, that they have crossed the Rubicon. He also urged the Igweocha Biafrans not to relent as they will storm Isiama Afara Ukwu Ibeku Umuahia Abia State Biafraland On the 14th of February 2020, and that no force on earth can stand the heat that will come that very day. He encouraged them to always remain fearless before their enemies.

Biafra is a spirit and nothing born of a woman can stop the sun from rising. We have come in peace that’s why we matched peacefully without anyone been injured. It’s Biafra or nothing he said.
Mazi Nyenke David, an indigene of Ibaa Ikwerre Rivers State Biafraland was interviewed by Rivers State Media, he said: “We the indigenes in Rivers State and Ikwerre to be precised has vowed it’s Biafra or nothing. Biafra is our only hope. On the 14th of February 2020, we the Ikwerre indigenes will storm Isiama Afara Ukwu Ibeku Umuahia for the burial of IPOB leader parents. Nothing will stop us”.

In summary, IPOB are using this medium to warn the Abia State CP Okon to stay out of the burial of late HRM Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and his wife Lolo Sally Ugoeze Okwu Kanu, because he has no right to dictate who will come to the burial. IPOB has always remained peaceful in their approach but nobody is a monopoly of violence. On the 14th of February 2020, we must pay our beloved King and Queen their last respect they deserve.
