On 26th June 2018, Ezza people took it upon them as they declare support for Mazị Nnamdị Kanụ and whole Biafran's following theirs in its festival celebration (new yam festival).
The Ezza people in Abakaliki province of Biafra land is well known for their warrior type God-given nature, they have never failed in any battle as we all know so, therefore, on 26th June 2018,they celebrated their new yam festival which is a significant celebration in Biafraland that shows that yam is due for harvest, following this; the elders of Ezza gather in their numbers to decide their fate and declare total support for Kanu and Biafra.
During the event, they urge the Nigeria government to provide Mazị Nnamdị Kanụ or face the wrath of the god's and that Ezza people shall stand side by side with Kanụ until Biafra regains her true state.
