Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) and also a Prince from a royal family in Afara Ukwu Ibeku in Umuahia the capital city of Abia state got missing after the military invasion in His home on the 11th of September 2017. The military announced to carry out their exercise of operation python dance II in South East on 15th of September but to our greatest surprise four days before the operation, soldiers invaded Kanu's home, took over the city of Aba and started to carry out their exercise before the actual date. Many people were reportedly killed by the Nigerian Army especially those from Abia State, Aba and Umuahia respectively.

Their main purpose of the exercise was to kill Nnamdi Kanu, which they have successfully done. According to Kanu's lawyer, Barrister Ejiofor, talking to Channels TV, "my client phoned me during the shooting in his compound, he said to me that his house was under siege by the Nigerian military. They are shooting sporadically live bullet in my compound right now which I confirmed because I was hearing sounds of gunshot, at a time the call dropped and I tried to contact him back but the phone was switched off " Ejiofor said, "the Nigerian Army must provide my client alive or dead because everything in the house is with holes of bullets even the Dog in his house was killed so there is every possibility that the military has shot Nnamdi Kanu and made away with him"

This draws my attention to Kanu's previous message to his followers and the Nigerian government. He said "it’s either I'm lowered down to the grave or the flag of Biafra is flying; one of the two must happen. "Now the question is, has Nigerian government chosen to lower him down to the grave so that Biafra will not come? They might have made the biggest mistake of their lives because there are millions of Nnamdi Kanu living in the whole world today. The death of Nnamdi Kanu cannot stop Biafra because this revolutionary movement is never one man's affairs.

Only his silence is trembling the Nigerian government and the world at large. They forgot to understand what freedom of speech is all about and that is why they are killing the innocent unarmed civilians exercising their right to freedom of aspirations.

The invasion of the South East shows the level of hatred of the Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari has towards the people from the old Eastern region because what the army wants was to wipe out everybody in the region (Genocidal war). According to Enyinnaya Abaribe, "the military was not invited to the State before they carried out their operations " which means that the order is from Above (federal government) and up till date, the soldiers have not denied that. Nigeria wants to use fire to quench fire, which is not possible. No Matter how they try, it will only end up in Referendum.
