It happened live on 30th April 2017 at St Martins catholic church Aba, Abia state. It was indeed a joyful, colourful and powerful thanks-giving service of Abia state coordinator, mazi ikechukwu
The holy mass kicked off exactly 10:00am, with a prayer from the parish priest Rev Fr Charles Ubawuike .
The Rev Fr. ministered the word of God and preached about Biafra restoration. He reminded the people of the reason of the gathering-to celebrate the release of our leader mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Ikechukwu and others. He advised Biafrans to always continue to show love to one another, to be their brother's keeper and stop betraying their brothers and the struggle to restore Biafra.
The Rev gentle man added colour to the event by singing from the altar, the Biafra national anthem.
He concluded his preaching with prayers declaring, "any man or woman that will raise up to fight against Biafra restoration must die Irrespective of whom is involved" During the thanks giving offering, the IPOB took the centre stage, led by Ikechukwu , the coordinator. Everywhere was filled with IPOB members both inside the church & outside the church premises.
There was great jubilation, dancing & singing, chanting! Holy Holy! Holy Nnamdi Kanu is another savour. The thanksgiving service was awesome and of great interest. When the mass was about to end, the coordinator thanked the Rev Fathers and the crowd as well. He urged them to be resolute and also spread the good news of Biafra restoration to their fellow priests, more especially in Biafra land.
Ikechukwu called upon the other Rev Fr. to come out enmass to support and pilot the restoration of Biafra anywhere they go to, "because Biafra belongs to all of us".
