It was indeed a great epoch making day for this great nation and great people of Biafra worldwide under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as different pro-Biafra activists and groups converged at the country home of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the supreme leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra as well as the director of Radio Biafra and Biafra Television, to dismantle the general assertion by the enemies of Biafra and its divine project for restoration, who claim that Biafrans are not one and if it get restored they will kill themselves, this followed the unanimous agreement by the different groups aggitating for the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra in adopting Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the Ohamadike 1 of Biafra to be the leader of their groups, to continue moving the great people of Biafra forward in their quest to restore Biafra their original nation from the evil contraption with Nigeria by Fredrick lord Lugard of Britain in 1914, which today does not work for the benefit of the Indigenous Peoples involved, but became a hard nut to crack as the Hausa/Fulani olligarchy who benefits from the evil contraption do not want to let it desolve since the marriage can not work anylonger.
The event which took place on 28th June, 2017 at Afara-ukwu-Ibeku the home town of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Umuahia Abia state had in attendance the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) and other Biafrans from wide and near ranging from Igede, Igbanke, Urhobo, Ibibio, Ijaw, Igbo, Iteshkiri and many more numbering over one million people and the streets of the capital city of Abia state could not contain the over zealous and well determined Biafrans, who are ready to get Biafra restored at all cost. Addressing the large crowd, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu analysed critically the need to boycott Nigeria conducted elections in Biafra land till a date will be given to us for referendum, using the Anambra state gubernatorial election scheduled to hold on November 18th, 2017 as an area of higher concentration. He equally assured Biafrans that he shall never sabotage the struggle for the restoration of Biafra instead he will double his effort in making sure that Biafra get restored in no distant time, he also expressed the readiness of his family members in giving him all needed aid in giving his best to Biafrans in the struggle for this divine project of Biafra restoration.
Meanwhile, other pro-Biafra groups in the struggle for the restoration of Biafra who equally came to withness the high level determination of Biafrans in standing with Nnamdi Kanu their leader, made it clear to the general public and Biafrans all over the world their resolution in making Mazi Nnamdi Kanu their leader. The groups involved are: Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, (MASSOB); Biafran Revolutionary Organization, (BRO); Eastern Peoples Congress, (EPC); Joint Revolutionary Council of Biafra, (JRCB); Biafra Liberation Crusaders, (BLC); and Salvation People of Biafra (SPB). On his speech the man who spoke on behalf of the groups (Name withhold) said "Distinguished great people of Biafra, supporters of divine mission for the emancipation of the land of Biafra from the oppressive Nigeria State, we salute your courage and bravery. Today, we stand in this holy land of Biafra in unique and brotherly manner to honour our own brother, who distinguished himself in the self-determination struggle for the restoration of Biafra, to specially announce to you the adoption of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to be the leader of all the groups in the struggle for Biafra restoration. 'In honour of our supreme leader, Chukwu Okike Abiama and in remembrance of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, we the people of Biafra under the representation of all the pro-Biafra groups, hereby, adopt and declare our brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, as the new leader of Biafra Nation, under whose leadership, through the grace of Chukwu Okike Abiama Biafra will be restored. No doubt that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s leadership has restored the unity, peace, progress and brotherly love among the esteemed people of Biafra worldwide".
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, while reacting to this said "I am humbled with the decision of these groups, We started this together and we shall end together, we are out for one purpose. I am not in the habit of turning down my friends, all Biafrans will be carried along back to our nation. Today is a great day for Biafrans all over the world, today we have shamed our enemies who think we can not come together, those who think that if we get Biafra, we will kill ourselves, off course we have proved to them that it is impossible and we love ourselves beyond how they love themselves, together we shall restore Biafra and that is what we are doing now and I can assure you that Biafra is here but you must do what you are asked to do, we maintain our stand on no more Nigeria conducted election in Biafra land till a date for referendum is given to us and we are going to boycott the Anambra state election come November, there will be no election in Anambra state that I can assure."
