Of course, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra has finally been released, but allow me to categorically state here that his release which amounts to undefined stringent bail condition is only but a whistle blew to inform Biafrans, lovers of freedom and the world at large that the journey to our freedom has just begun.

To be realistic, one shouldn’t argue the fact that the condition at which he was released is something to be concerned about. His release has caused an uproar among Biafrans, thereby giving rooms to matters arising; curiosities hovering in the minds of people who seem not satisfied with the information as regarded to his conditional release. Mind you, justifiably, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was not supposed to be released under any form of bail conditions let alone a stringent one. This is due to the fact that on 17th of December 2015, right inside the same Federal High court Abuja, he was granted unconditional release by Justice Ademola Adeniyi. It’s obvious that a court of competent jurisdiction gave a justifiable order against a suspect, but those orders were flouted by the dictator in power (Muhammadu Buhari). The same court that swore him into power constitutionally, the same court whose duty is to redress him when gone wrong failed to caution him when flouted its orders, rather reissued another bail to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu with stringent conditions attached to it, something entirely opposite to the former one.

Nevertheless, we ought to caution those who have embarked on a mission to discourage gullible individuals among us, into believing that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has accepted defeat by accepting those stringent bail conditions. They should quell from such act or be prepared to face the consequences. For the word of God says “Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.” Nnamdi kanu is a Prophet of Chukwuabiama and the rumors you rumor mongers peddle against him, thereby tarnishing his image may attract God’s anger unto you. Be warned!

Only those with low mentality developed cold feet towards the struggle when it was announced that our leader had accepted the bail conditions given. Few days after the court ordered the conditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, I had decided to surf the net to know what was actually going on and going through people’s erroneous and sarcastic comments on Facebook, I was at first deterred and confused. However, as I continued to analyze the whole facts, I became more convinced that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s decision to accept the bail conditions was indeed a wise one. Therefore, I urge Biafrans not be at lost, for freedom is not as easy as you think.

The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu remains resolute and unrelenting in his quest to get us Biafra. Those who are close to him know what he is capable of. Our leader is a man who does not prevaricate. He is a man of his words. He has promised to get us Biafra and so will he. To me, he is the savior that has never existed for the past fifty years. His type is rare. Our great leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has always been resolute. He has never thought of betraying this struggle and if one could still vividly remember, during one of his live broadcasts before his arrest in 15th of October 2015, “Ohamadike had sworn with his life and that of his entire generation not to betray Biafrans and I strongly believe that he is still determined to keep to his promise.

To further explain this, let’s think it through or see it this way. When Dr. Nnamdi Kanu was initially abducted by the Nigerian DSS, he had spent months in their dungeon going through serious torture but he never surrendered. The truth is that our leader went through hell in the enemy’s camp, but he never gave up on us and in what he believes in. When all their tact to extract information from him had failed, the Nigeria government under the leadership of Dictator Muhammadu Buhari now decided to apply diplomacy and finesse instead of coercion to approach him. They had offered him oil wells, contracts and large amounts of money not to mention Biafra again but he turned all their requests down and persisted on asking for the freedom of his people. It’s on record, that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on several occasions had said that he would never betray us rather, we would be the ones to betray him. Having said all these, I am of the opinion that our leader is as strong as ever and will never turn his back on us. He never turned his back on us when the going was tough, how much now it appears to be easy.

Like I have said earlier, freedom fighting is not an easy task. For those who think that freedom fighting is as easy as boiling a pot of water should have a rethink for it is not as easy as you think. I have always been made to believe that Freedom is taken and not given. Nnamdi Kanu’s own freedom fighting is something beyond human comprehension because Chukwuokikeabiama Himself is involved and He is the one directing the activities of IPOB under the leadership of Ohamadike, our great leader.

To calm the growing tension existing in the minds of our people whether Mazi Nnamdi kanu is still on the right track, I think the best option here is to educate them more on the issues relating to this Biafra struggle. Let them be aware that it is something that has been approved by God.  Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who Chukwuokikeabama is using as a tool to give us Biafra cannot in anyway deviate from the right track.

What baffles me is that when Ohamadike was still in detention, many Biafrans were demanding for his release and now that he is free, it doesn’t add up seeing some of them harboring negative thoughts about our leader. Though I wouldn’t say I blame them, because many are yet to recover from Ralph Uwazuruike’s own betrayal of the Biafra struggle. However, we must apply wisdom here and try to differentiate between good and evil. Without being told, one should know that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has gone too far to back out of the struggle. Truly we are in the critical stage of the struggle and those who had initially pledged their allegiance to him are now against his command. If one should look well, one would notice that at this point in time, those who had openly declared their support when the going was still easy have now abandoned him in the middle of the road to get crushed as the going gets tougher.

Biafrans must be sober and extra vigilant this days for the devil is hovering about, seeking for whom to deceive. There are uncountable numbers of enemies of Biafra on social media, whose only mission is to persuade and misinform people. What exactly is your duty as a true Biafran blood if not to encourage our leader to carry on? What is your obligation if not to stand shoulder to shoulder with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to continue this fight for freedom?

I won’t refrain from advising Biafrans to seat up, buckle up your shoes and tighten your sit belts, for the journey to our freedom has just begun. Our leader needs our supports; he needs our prayers to keep on moving. Biafrans should be made to understand that Biafra freedom is spiritually sanctioned. Without soliciting support from Chiukwu-Okike-Abiama, there is no way we can get to our promise land, because only Him (Okike) is the Alfa and Omega and nothing is impossible before Him. We should be made to understand that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu did not just choose to do this work, rather he was chosen by Chiukwu-Okike-Abiama to make it happen and nothing will ever stop the emergence of Biafra.

May I also use this opportunity to again remind our people and the entire world about who we are. We are the Indigenous People of Biafra.  We are not MASSOB, neither are we Bilie human and animal right initaitive. We are not actualizing, rather we are restoring Biafra. In every freedom pursuit, there must be difficulties and challenges. That is exactly what we are encountering now and what will help us to achieve our aim is our capability to face the challenges involved in the struggle.

Therefore I am urging Biafrans to please stop gossiping and take up the responsibility there in. We must support our leader, because he has been pushed to the extreme, and he is greatly paying the ultimate prize of our freedom. Let us not be in a hurry to forget the fact that Mazi Nnamdi kanu has sacrificed his comfort, joy and freedom to embark on this journey to restore Biafra and  to reveal to the entire world the subjugation, marginalization sufferings, killings, the Biafran people are encountering in the hands of the zoo government.

For sixteen years MASSOB has been involved in the struggle to restore Biafra but never achieved a half of what IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has achieved within a short period of time. Since his detention, Biafra agitation has been an issue discussed in every social media platform. And this has helped in drawing the attention of the international communities to be aware of how Biafrans are continuously marginalized and killed by the zoo government and I can tell you that the journey to our freedom has assumed a new dimension.

“Honor,” they say “should be given to whom honor is due.” IPOB slogan has always been “BIAFRA OR DEATH”. Biafra is an ideology, and no ideology has ever been killed by prison walls or bullets. Let us be courageous, and at the same time encourage our leader mazi Nnamdi kanu, the Joshua of our time. Let us become too busy to be distracted by rumor mongers. Together we fight, and together we gain our freedom. Let us be aware of this fact that the acceptance of the stringent conditions attached to the bail granted to Mazi Nnamdi kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra is a wise decision and should send a signal to those Biafrans who still query his action, that the struggle to restore Biafra has just taken a new turn.
