The Federal Government of Nigeria today failed to appear in court for the hearing filed by Kanu's defence counsel, the government legal representatives failed to appear in the ECOWAS court  of justice in Abuja.

The presiding Judge, Justice Frida Nwoke adjourned the case till the 8th November 2016 and promised to rule final judgment even in absence of the complaints.

Fear, anxiety and heart attack overwhelms President Muhamadu Buhari, his cabinet members, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state and other top Nigerian politicians who are enemies of Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB and Biafra as a top civilized Member of the European Parliament  (MEP) for the North West of England, Julie Ward speaks against the abuses of Nnamdi Kanu's rights as a Nigerian-British citizen, perpetrated by President Muhamadu Buhari of Nigeria.

As a civilized world leader who protects the rights, freedoms of citizens and rule of law, Julie Ward blasted President Muhamadu Buhari for showing contempt to courts' orders and for trampling on the rule of law which he(Muhamadu Buhari) as a president of the country is supposed to uphold.

She called on the president of Nigeria, Muhamadu Buhari, to desist from stopping people from exercising their rights to freedom of speech, peaceful protests and agitation.

Deducing from Julie speech, Muhamadu Buhari should strip himself of dictatorial tendencies as he is well known as a former military ruler who derived pleasure in oppressing, persecuting, subjugating, witch-hunting and trampling on the rights of citizens, and disobedience to courts injunctions. He should uphold the Nigerian constitution and rule of law  he swore to uphold.

In her words: “Since October 2015, Nnamdi Kanu, a British-Nigerian citizen and leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra has been unlawfully imprisoned by Nigeria’s Department of State Services despite the fact that all criminal charges against him were dropped and the court order has been issued for him to be released on bail.

Chapter 4 section 39 of the Nigerian constitution says that every person shall be entitled to freedom of expression including freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impact ideas and information without interference.”

“I, therefore, call upon the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari to uphold his country’s constitution, to ensure Nnamdi Kanu’s immediate and safe release as well as his co-defendant, Benjamin Madubgwu and James Nwawuisi.

“The Nigerian government must guarantee the freedom of expression of all Nigerian citizens including their right to protest without intimidation and end violence towards those who identify as Biafrans.
